Pedal To Sacramento’s 9th Annual Capitol Beer Fest For The Ultimate Beer Bike Tour
A social way to kick off the month is to check out the 9th Annual Capitol Beer Fest. Happening Saturday, March 2 on Capitol Mall from 12p.m.-4p.m., ticket holders have the opportunity to experience over 120 of the nations best brewers, nearly 20 food trucks and enjoy live music.
Tickets can be purchased at Capitol Beer Fest for this 21+ event.
If this sounds like something that you and your crew would love, book Sactown Social’s beer bike and plan this as one of your stops!
The beer bike saves you the hassle of parking downtown and with the surge of new bars that have recently opened downtown by Capitol Mall, you’re sure to find something new once you’re ready to hit the road.
The Bank, Punch Bowl Social, Tiger, and the 1010 Room are all worth a stop on your bike tour if you’re wanting a taste and feel of what’s new in the city.
A huge bonus is that all these bars are close by to plenty of others, so hop on the beer bike, enjoy the ride and pedal to where your heart desires.
Second Saturday is happening March 9 this month, pedal down to R Street and drop in on local art galleries and shops and see what treasures you can find.
If you’re in the market for some free fun this month, you can plan one of your beer bike stops to hit Old Sacramento on Saturday, March 16 for the 23rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade!
There will be lots to see with hundreds of colorful marchers dressed in green, along with Irish dancers and bagpipe and drum bands. The parade steps off promptly at 1 p.m. from Old Sacramento and proceeds throughout the national historic landmark district. If you’re looking for more festive fun, hop back on the beer bike after the parade and pedal to 2nd and K Street to sing and dance along with Irish acoustic band, The Mighty Murphys!
This event is open to all ages so ditch the babysitter and brings the kids along too! Beer bikes aren’t just for the adults, kids ages 12 and up are welcome on our bikes if you’re wanting some family fun!
The St. Paddy’s Day Pub crawl will be in full swing on March 16 and 17
It’s a perfect event to meet some new friends, cherish the old ones and enjoy creating great memories together.
A majority of the fun during pub crawls happens outside the bars with folks laughing and talking as they make their way to the next destination. A critical part of the success of any pub crawl is safe transportation from bar to bar. You need something which can move a dozen or more friends quickly and does not require any partygoers to drive during the festivities.
Fret not, a perfect solution exists! Our beer bikes can hold anywhere from 8-15 passengers making it the most efficient way to stick together and get to the next location quickly.
If you book a beer bike tour that weekend, don’t forget to wear your green! You know what happens if you do! Sacramento will be buzzing with locals getting into all sorts of Saint Patrick’s Day fun! Who knows, maybe you’ll even spot a leprechaun.
Also happening that weekend on March 16 is the 9th Annual Brazilian Carnival. The event theme for this year is ‘Save the Amazon’ and the word on the street is that there is a $200 costume contest, so start brainstorming costume ideas with your squad.
This event can be planned as one of your tours stops on the beer bike! The event runs from 5p.m.-10p.m. with fun all throughout the day. So grab your foodie friends, your dancing friends and enjoy Brazilian music and delicious Brazilian food & drinks. The best thing about this event? It’s free.
As you can see there is plenty of fun to get into Sacramento this month.
