Summer in midtown means second Saturday block parties and lots of other fun!
THIS midtown is back this month on Second Saturday, June 8. From 5p.m.-10p.m. plan a beer bike stop to 20th & K for this fun free event.
Enjoy the weather, check out booths from local vendors and get your groove on. Its 21+ to drink but all ages to dance! This month headliner AUTOGRAF will grace Sacramento with some vibey, futuristic electronica.
If you’re trying to steer clear of the big block party crowd, plan a beer bike stop to KULTURE on K street. They are hosting a second Saturday event from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m., there will be food, music, and local art and crafts.
If you’re looking for some second Saturday art action, pedal down anytime from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. to Leave Your Mark Sacramento on J street to see the opening reception of Arturo Romero’s “Gimme All Your Money.”

A ride down R street on any second Saturday to drop in on local art galleries and shops will surely have treasures waiting for you. While you’re on R street—Bottle and Barlow makes a great stop for craft cocktails.
On Wednesday, June 12, assemble your crew, hop on the beer bike and plan to stop by The Press Club for 80s night. 80s jams from pop to new wave to dance to yacht rock to hair metal will be playing all night.
Time to dust off those windbreakers and bust out the legwarmers!
If you’re looking for Friday night laughs this month, plan a stop at the Sacramento Comedy Spot June 14 around 8 p.m. They will be hosting their “Weird•Strange•Bizarre” event.
This showcase will be held game show edition, featuring games MYSTERY MEAT and YOU LAUGH, YOU LOSE.

Sacramento offers us Concerts in the Park every Friday evening through the summer. Bike down to Cesar Chavez Plaza park any Friday this month for this free event featuring live music, various food trucks, and drinks. Pedal down to Cesar Chavez Park any Friday the 7, 14, 21 or 28 from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m.
El Nopal Mexican Grill brings us something new this month with their new event, Mellow Mondays. This is a weekly event happening June, 3,10, 17, and 24 featuring a new musician each week.
There is no cover charge and there will be delicious food and drink specials. This is a featured artist event and you can expect to see solo singing musicians and a spoken word artist.

If you’re feeling swanky, plan a stop to hit Momo Sacramento on a Wednesday this month for their weekly “Bourbon & Blues” event. Sip on an Old Fashioned and let the blues sweep you away.
There is a different artist playing each week, so plan to groove at Momo’s this June 5, 12, 19 or 26.
