Midsummer Beer Bike Tours in Sacramento

Midsummer Beer Bike Tours in Sacramento

Midsummer in Sacramento is warm, welcoming and the social scene is banging!

There are tons of things to celebrate this month! Birthday’s, bachelor/bachelorette parties, anniversaries, corporate event parties, Sunday fun-days—all of which are perfect occasions for a beer bike tour.

Sactown Social Bikes is here to help you experience the city in a new way, creating lasting memories while you pedal the town. We are flexible and want to help you plan to make your event a success.

We offer 3-hour tours 7 days a week, allowing you can choose your beer bike tours and where you’d like to go within the midtown boundaries. You can pick between 3-4 stops depending on locations.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the multitude of options in Sacramento, we have a favorites list we’d be happy to walk you through.

We have a few extra perks like BYOB allowance while on the beer bike at no extra charge and full control of the aux cord—so start curating that playlist.

We mentioned the social scene being off the hook this month… assemble the squad, book a beer bike tour and arrive at any event in style.

Ladies, grab your girlfriends because Flamingo House is doing something fun this month! They are throwing a party, SHINE Dance Party & Ladies Lounge, featuring all female DJs, bartenders, and artists. All are welcome to stop by Flamingo July 3 to get your dose of beats, artwork and delicious drinks!

Lowbrau hosts music artist Le Youth July 9, for their 21+ event Savant. This event is free and will likely bring out a crowd so plan your stop around 9 p.m. when the mood is just getting started.

If you missed last months “Dancin’ in the Alley”, don’t fret because it is back this month.

Pedal down to Cantina Alley July 11, grab a michelada and dance in the alley with Dance on the Edge. From 6 p.m.-10 p.m. outside the main entrance to Cantina Alley, the alley will be transformed into a delightful family-friendly event with dancing, music, and food.

The event will start with a free dance lesson at 6:15 p.m. and continue on into the evening with a variety of Latin rhythms. Be prepared to dance the night away!

If you’re looking for Friday night laughs this month, plan a stop at the Sacramento Comedy Spot July 12 around 8 p.m. They will again be hosting their “Weird•Strange•Bizarre” event. Make it an evening of comedy while watching “Physical Comedy Olympics” and a poetry slam.

A walk down the deck will lead you to LowBrau where you can grab some grub and a brew.

THIS midtown is back this month on Second Saturday, July 13. Cruise down to the block party on 20th & K from 5p.m.-10p.m. for this fun free event. Soak in the warm summer night, check out booths from local vendors and enjoy the vibes.

It’s 21+ to drink but all ages to dance! This month headliner, Dombresky, will bring the heat.

Second Saturday art can always be found just a pedal down R Street to drop in on local art galleries and shops. There are plenty of treasures to be found!

On Wednesday, July 17, if you stop in at The Jungle Bird you will get to experience their monthly event, ‘Travel with the Jungle Bird’ as they take a trip to Panama! There will be Panamanian inspired cocktails featuring Ron Abuelo Rum and Chef Greg Pilapil will have prepared a Panamanian inspired cuisine.

Spend your third Thursday at 24th & K this month and check out “Midtown Made”.

Pedal down July 18 to check out all things locally made, shop and create your own special projects. There will be beverages, live music, lawn games, and you will have the opportunity to snap some photos in Midtown BierGarten Volkswagen Bus photo booth.

On July 21, a stop into The Wilkerson Theatre will lead you to the smoothest of jazz.

Featuring vocalists Vanna Turner, Glenn Boutte, Cathy West-Packard and Julie Gallaher with accompaniment by Bill Dendle and Shelley Denny— you will be enchanted by some of your favorite jazz songs celebrating the moon.

If you’re looking for “Something2Do” on a Friday night, plan a beer bike stop to The Golden Bear.

Every 2nd & 4th Friday there’s something happening in the back at Golden Bear, with local DJs Mike Diamond & My Cousin Vinny playing tracks all night. This months “Something2Do” dates are July 12 & 26.

Every 1st and 3rd Monday at Golden Bear you’ll hear the best 90’s & 2000’s throwbacks all night long. House Party Monday will be on July 1 & 15 this month so plan Golden Bear as a stop if you’re in the mood for a blast from the past.
