Come Join Us for a Spring Beer Bike Tour in Sacramento, CA

The weather has been temperamental this past month, fluctuating between pouring rain and jacket-optional—but April is sure to bring more of that perfect low-mid 70s weather.

With the longer, sunnier days you can’t help but want to spend more time outside. It’s the best time of the year in Sacramento to explore the grid. Something new is always popping up, and Sactown Social Bikes can show you where.

Midtown is looking adorable this time of the year. The dogwood trees have bloomed around town, flashing shades of pink and white, and tulips and daffodils seem to have popped up overnight.

With availability throughout the week and bike tours running until 10:30 p.m., there is likely a time slot available for you and your friends to hop on board the beer bike and scout out the city’s offerings. Book online to reserve your slot on the beer bike, grab your friends and get out to enjoy the season while it’s here.

We are flexible and want to help you have the best possible time. Sactown Social Bike tours are offered 7 days a week. You can book the beer bike for a 3-hour exploration anywhere on the grid. Your tour can be between 3-4 stops depending on locations, so start brainstorming with friends what stops you want to hit.

As if a trip with us on the beer bike couldn’t be sounding any better…

BYOB is allowed while on the beer bike at no extra charge and you can rock out to your favorite tunes while taking the town, because at Sactown Social Bikes you get the aux cord.

If you or a friend is an April baby, come celebrate your special day with us!

A beer bike tour is a memorable way to celebrate a multitude of events. Birthday’s, bachelor/bachelorette parties, anniversaries, a corporate event party or just a Sunday fun-day are all perfect occasions for a beer bike tour. If you have been looking for a way to team build with coworkers, or for a fun new way to spend some time outside, give us a call and we can start planning with you.

If you’re undecided on where to go, don’t worry. Sacramento is full of plenty of worthy spots and we know where to find them.

For all the gluten-free folks out there—grab your gang and bike with us to what is sure to be one of your new favorite spots in midtown.

Last month a gluten-free cider taphouse and restaurant opened at the corner of 24th and K streets—Cider House.

Cider House emphasizes on gluten-free drinks and food. With a rotating list of ciders and a food menu that includes gluten-free versions of paninis, vegan burgers and grilled cheeses, you really can’t go wrong.

As usual, there are a lot of fun things happening in Sacramento this month!

If you’re feeling swanky, plan your stop to hit Momo Sacramento on April 3 for “Bourbon & Blues.” Sip on an Old Fashioned and let the music of Wendy DeWitt & Kirk Harwood sweep you away.

There are plenty of other stand-out bars within a quick pedal of Momo… Centro; with their impressive infused tequila selection, Biergarten; for a midtown taste of a German beer garden, and The Flamingo House; with their flashy, pink decor.

Second Saturday falls on April 13 this month and Midtown Sacramento is becoming known for their eclectic art scene. Gather your artsy friends for an evening on the beer bike and see what Sacramento has to offer.

Hacker Lab will present “Sacramento Love” at their debut second Saturday event at the new Midtown location. If your interest is sparked, plan to pedal over and see mediums spanning from traditional to the cutting edge, according to Hacker Lab.

Pedal Down R Street For Good Laughs, Eats, and Entertainment

A pedal down R Street on second Saturday to drop in on local art galleries and shops will surely have treasures waiting for you.

For more second Saturday art and fun, plan for a beer bike stop at Leave Your Mark Sac—local paint shop for the midtown creatives. A solo art exhibition by Rigo the Artist, entitled “Beneath the Surface” will take place from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

If you’re looking for laughs this month, check out the Sacramento Comedy Spot this second Saturday. They will be hosting their “WEIRD • STRANGE • BIZARRE” event, a full day of unusual, creative, and experimental comedy shows produced by local comedians. The event goes from 12 p.m. to 4 a.m. and costs $15 no matter what time you drop in to join in on the fun. Plan the Comedy Spot as a beer bike stop and since you’ll already be over there, might as well hit LowBrau for their “Dirty Duck Fries.”
